ContextMedia Management
The goals for Media Management degree program are to give professional knowledge and skills for students so that they can work in media production projects and are able to transfer their knowledge and skills in different context. The core courses introduce students to film, TV, new media and advertising. Marketing and project management studies play a vital part in the studies. The student will get a clear picture about media field and how to operate there. She/he will get the idea about different issues which have influence on media productions. Studies have a strong link on work-based projects. A student will design together with the tutor teacher a personal study plan which will be updated annually. According to the student’s personal study plan, a student chooses courses from professional courses, workshops, optional studies and different practical productions. During the final study year, the 4th year, a student prepares an individual final work, which is introduced in a seminar. A student specialises to a certain field of media management according the students personal study plan. Studies allow a person to work in the field of film production, in TV companies, in multimedia production as well as in the public media and advertising companies.
