ContextDigital Arts
Digital Arts students gain knowledge in the main areas of creative multimedia development, including 2 & 3D graphics, modelling and animation, and audiovisual design and production. In addition, students gain competency in the use and maintenance of hardware, and learn basic electronics, materials and construction techniques. Digital Arts particularly emphasizes a critical approach to artistic production, with study and analysis of media, cyber and cultural theory, leading students to an understanding of the media framework within which they are working. When graduating, students are equipped to continue their artistic research at a higher level, develop their own artistic career, or find work within the IT industry.
